A chain care now and then
You shouldn't miss a chain care now and then even if you are in holiday mood.

Therefore we recommend to simply take the kettenmax, the lubrication adapter and a piece of string (max. 1 m) with you.

Small cleaning and lubrication sprays are available in all service stations at home and abroad. Ask for a collecting vessel (paper cup, ash tray) for the contaminated cleaning agent.

To clean the chain put the adapter on the appropriate screw part on the side of the chain entry. Then fix the kettenmax to the frame with the string and spray the cleaning agent over the adapter at the spray brush connection. In case the spraying part of the cleaning agent does not fit to the adapter, just change it to the one of the lubricant. After the cleaning put the adapter on the screw part on the side of the chain exit. Wait until the chain is dry and then spray the lubricant over the adapter at the spray brush connection.

Within few minutes - and with hardly any effort - your chain is fit for another 1000 kilometers!

You are hibernating your motorbike?
In this case you should absolutely preserve your chain. After the last chain care, after greasing the chain, put the adapter on the on the lower screw part and put a good dose of lubricant onto the outer part of the chain - youŽll be surprised how good the condition of your chain will be in spring.
